Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BowlsTrack, a performance analytics platform for lawn bowls operated by Afon Analytics ("we", "us", "our"). By using BowlsTrack, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

BowlsTrack provides lawn bowls performance tracking and analytics tools, including:

• Bowl delivery coordinate capture and visualisation
• Match and session recording
• Performance statistics and analytics
• Team management features (Club and Elite tiers)

2. Account Registration

To use BowlsTrack, you must:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Be at least 16 years old
• Notify us of any unauthorised account access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Subscription Plans

Subscriptions are billed annually. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Setup fee: An initial setup cost of £200 applies to all new Club and Elite subscriptions, covering onboarding, configuration, and training. This is a one-time fee, payable at the start of the subscription.

4. Payments and Refunds

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Club and Elite tiers require a one-time £200 setup fee
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancel at least 7 days before renewal to avoid charges
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you haven't used premium features
• No refunds for partial subscription periods after 14 days

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all performance data you enter into BowlsTrack. By using our service, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display your data to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share account credentials with others (except authorised club administrators)
• Attempt to access other users' data without permission
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise security

7. Intellectual Property

BowlsTrack, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Afon Analytics and protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

Your performance data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the statistics and records you create.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform maintenance with reasonable notice where possible
• Modify or discontinue features with 30 days' notice
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• BowlsTrack is provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access until the end of your billing period
• Your data is retained for 90 days, then deleted
• You can export your data before deletion

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with immediate effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
